Creating Approval Chains and Change Controls
This document will run you through creating approval chains and change control templates. After following these steps, you will be ready to begin implementing change controls on tasks and enhancing collaboration with approval chains
Creating an Approval Chain
Step 1
From the Admin Panel in the admin panel on the left side menu, select Approval Chains.

Step 2
On the Approval Chains screen, select the + Add button to initiate the creation of a new approval chain.

Step 3
Enter a unique name for your approval chain.

Step 4
You can add a requirement or specify instructions in association with the approval chain.

Step 5
You can continue building your approval chain or create a new one by adding a new stage.

Step 6
On this screen, you can add members into the approval chain process.

Step 7
Within the members' dropdown list, individual members’ names or role types can be selected.

Step 8
Once you add a new member, you can configure them with options such as Required or Optional approval, and the order of their approval.

Step 9
Continue building your approval chain until the process meets your organization’s needs.

Creating a Change Control Template
Step 1
From the Admin Panel in the admin panel on the left side menu, select Change Control Templates.

Step 2
On the Change Control Templates screen, select the + Add button to initiate the creation of a new template.

Step 3
Enter a unique name and description for clarity.

Step 4
You may assign an approval chain, requirement, or specify instructions as needed.

Step 5
You can add steps within the change control process. These can be assigned to individual members or roles.

Step 6
Continue adding steps until your change control template is complete.

Step 7
You can save the change control template by clicking Save in the top right corner.

Step 8
Your new template will now be available in the system for selection.
